Scholarship Eligibility
- This Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg International Scholarship is open to all international applicants. Available Subjects: A degree program taught at the University of Freiburg is available to candidates.
- All of the following requirements must be met by applicants to be considered:
- At the University of Freiburg, students must be in their fourth semester of any degree program.
- The candidates must be in the stage of the examination.
- The applicants must be Ph.D. students nearing graduation (up to six months before submission).

- Liberal Arts and Sciences: DSH (results 2 or 3) or TestDaF – 4 DSH 1 or TestDaF – 3 certified evidence of B2-level English proficiency An application for the Studienkolleg requires proof of B2-level German proficiency.
