General Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a resident of Florida and a citizen of the United States or an eligible noncitizen, as specified by the student’s postsecondary institution.
- Complete the FFAA no later than August 31 after secondary school graduation.
- Procure a standard Florida secondary school recognition, or its same, from a Florida public secondary everyday schedule enrolled Florida Branch of Training (FDOE) confidential secondary school; or on the other hand total a home schooling program.
- Unless the student has been granted clemency by the Governor and Cabinet, which serves as the Executive Office of Clemency, they cannot have been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere to a felony charge.
- Be acknowledged by, and sign up for a degree or endorsement program at, a qualified Florida public or free postsecondary foundation. Florida Bright Futures Scholarship
- Be enlisted for no less than six non-healing semester credit hours (or the same in quarter or clock hours) per term
Specific Eligibility Requirements:
- With a standard Florida high school diploma, graduate from a public high school in Florida.
- Reach the minimum score on either the ACT® or the SAT® college entrance exams by June 30 of the year you graduate from high school;
- Obtain the required 100 hours of paid work or volunteer service; also,
- Present a FFAA no later than August 31 after secondary school graduation
